News: Update to the Index Calculation Methodology

05/20/2025 16:32
After conducting a public consultation on changes in indices calculation methodology, the Zagreb Stock Exchange has amended the Resolution on following indices:

Resolution on CROBEX index
Resolution on CROBEXtr index
Resolution on CROBEX10 index
Resolution on CROBEX10tr index
Resolution on CROBEXprime index
Resolution on ADRIAprime index

Amendments include the introduction of two additional regular quarterly reviews in June and December. These additional reviews do not involve changes to the index composition, only updating the number of shares listed, the free float factor and the weighting factor for each constituent within the index composition. In addition, the timing for calculating the maximum weight cap for individual stocks has been changed to six business days prior to the regular review date. These changes apply to all of the aforementioned indices.

Furthermore, the Resolution on the CROBEX10 index and the Resolution on the CROBEX10tr index include the reduction of the maximum weight of an individual index constituent from 20% to 19%.

All of the above index methodology changes are introduced in order to align with the practices of other European stock exchanges and the requirements of the Act on Open-Ended Investment Funds with Public Offering.

The amended Resolutions enter into force on 1 June 2025.
